Rita Ehmann Kuhnke --1942
Rita Ehmann was born in Monte Vista Colorado and raised in Fort Collins. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Northern Colorado University at Greeley in 1965. She married ceramic artist Cliff Khunke and has two children. When Cliff was killed in an automobile accident, Rita moved to the small village of Tepoztlan Mexico. Though her family still lives in Fort Collins, Rita has lived and worked in Mexico for nearly 40 years.
