“I believe we all have an inner desire to express ourselves creatively. When I paint, I make an intuitive connection with the subject, be it a landscape, flowers, architecture, animals, even marbles! In the connection, the study, I move into a peaceful, receptive place where I express the subject, using my paints as my voice. In this receptive space I give up control, as these paints of mine seem to have a mind of their own. And it’s in that moment when my brush touches the paper that I invite you to stay and enjoy that place, too.”
