Dynamic Floral Inspirations in Oils

Born in Montrose, Colorado, Kentee Suone Pasek grew up in the high rugged Rocky Mountains of Ouray, Colorado. At a young age her natural talent in drawing and painting drew the attention of professional artists. They soon took Kentee under their wing and taught her the
fundamentals of art.

Kentee painted and studied art throughout school and college. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Fine Arts degree. On a humbling trip to Europe, Kentee studied work by the Masters. Seeing these masterpieces, Kentee began searching for her own inspirational identity.

One day while gardening, a bouquet of bright orange black-eyed susan flowers inspired Kentee. She dropped her gardening tools, went inside and came back with oil paints and canvas. The original Black Eyed Susan oil painting was born. A series of six floral oil paintings became top sellers.

This success gave Kentee an identity and a voice for her art. Today she paints dynamic flowers and never finds enough canvas for all of her floral inspirations. Her artwork reflects a love of gardening and the outdoors. These unique flowers, full of life, amaze the viewer with a magical quality and a brilliant depth.

At Kentee Suone Pasek's artist studio the quality oil paintings on canvas are all original designs. Each painting has 10-20 layers of oil paint giving the depth and quality of the work. This is what gives the work its edge and unique result.

Kentee specializes in original oil paintings, giclee limited edition reproductions, and commission work. Our giclees are hand pulled and signed by the artist.
