Kathy Beekman has been an artist since the age of four. She has been painting predominately in pastel since the year 2000 after a trip to Mexico. A fine art graduate of Siena Heights University, Michigan, Kathy now finds herself instructing adults in the fine art of pastel painting.
Now an active Colorado artist, Kathy is a member of the Evergreen Artists Association and the Art Student's League of Denver. Recently she was featured in the nationally acclaimed Southwest Art Magazine. Currently her work can be found in galleries throughout Colorado and in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
