Plein Air Moab 2010 is the first annual plein air painting(painting outside, on location) event to happen in Moab, Utah. Artists will compete in three categories for prize money in each.( First place prizes are $1,350 and second place $500.) Artists can begin competing on October 1st and any time or day after that and will turn in their finished entry on Friday,October 8th from 11-2. Judging takes place that afternoon and awards are announced at artists reception Friday evening beginning at 6pm. Silent auction begins then and extends until Sat evening. | ||
